Pastor Mike Pitsenberger
Mike’s a pretty simple guy. He Loves….
- Jesus and His church
- his wife and family
- God’s Word
- to preach Sunday mornings and Sunday nights
- to visit and pray with people
- sharing Christ with others
- the thought of being with Jesus when he dies
And he’d love to meet you if you ever come to worship or if you were to stop by the office.
Pastor Steve VanWyhe: Pastor of Family Life Ministries
Steve grew up in Rock Rapids, Iowa and attended Northwestern College, where he played football and majored in Christian Education and Youth Ministry. During college, he met his now wife of four years, Kayla. She majored in nursing at NWC. After college, he was called to youth ministry as the Youth Pastor of a church in Fulton, IL. They felt the church was an amazing place to begin their ministry and pour into the youth and parents of Fulton. During their time in Illinois, they had 2 children, Carter who is now 3 and Gracelyn who is 1. They are currently expecting their third child in December of 2017. Steve is also enrolled as an online student in the Distance Learning program at Western Theological Seminary. He is currently in his fourth year, out of five, to receive a Masters of Divinity. God called their family to Carmel during the summer of 2017. They have loved getting to know the people of Carmel and look forward to developing many new relationships in the area.
Steve is an avid Minnesota Vikings fan, he enjoys playing disc golf with his family, cards games, board games, woodworking, and simply hanging out with friends and family. Steve’s favorite movie is “Remember the Titans”, favorite band is the Newsboys, his favorite meal is his wife’s ham balls with cheesy potatoes, but he enjoys most food. Last nugget about Steve is that he loves to tell and hear good clean jokes.
